50 PERCENT OFF SALE! PRICE IS 50% OFF ORIGINAL PRICE! Double wide & double color equals double fun! That’s the over-the-top aura that this famous Karl Lagerfeld big and bold faux pearl bracelet exudes. It is double the width of an average bracelet. And it showcases lustrous cream and golden faux baroque pearls by the venerable House of Gripoix. Doesn’t get any better than that for a fun-filled night on the town or red carpet event. It’s absolutely a wowza! It’s no coincidence that this bracelet has the look and the quality of a Coco Chanel piece; Lagerfeld served as creative director of the Chanel company starting in the 1980s, concurrently managing his eponymous company. In fact, Lagerfeld is credited with resurrecting the Chanel brand, which was languishing after Coco Chanel died. Our bracelet showcases six strands of Gripoix’s famous baroque pearls (yes, the same kind used for Chanel pearl creations) in two lustrous colors: classic cream and stunning gold. The pearls are jumbo sized, 9.5mm each, and hand-knotted in between. Half of each strand has cream faux pearls, and the other half, golden ones. All together, the two tones present contrasting, yet complementary, color blocks. The pearls are gathered at the ends by matte rich goldtone bands, simply, boldly, marked with Lagerfeld’s script initials, KL, etched in black. The gilt bands hide a wide push-in clasp. The bracelet is about 8 1/4″ long and 2 1/2″ wide. It is in very good to excellent condition. Except for a few pinprick-size nicks on a few pearls, the beautiful nacre is intact. The matte goldtone bands are rich in hue. The construction is very sturdy. This is the widest of Lagerfeld bracelet widths, and pretty hard to find. We were lucky to own an all-golden version of this a couple years ago. We’re pleasantly surprised that its retail price has gone up since. But we’re keeping the old price, so this is a great deal.
